Joel Wolowelsky & Avner Taler

Joel B. Wolowelsky is Dean of the Faculty Emeritus at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, where he taught for 55 years before making aliyah to Jerusalem. He is a Consulting editor of Tradition: A Journal of Orthodox Jewish Thought and Associate Editor of the series MeOtsar HoRav: Selected Writings of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik. His books include Women, Jewish Law and Modernity: New Opportunities in a Post-Feminist Age and Mind of the Mourner: Individual and Community in Jewish Mourning. Rabbi Avner Taler was the chairman of the Bible department at Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman Highschool, as well as a teacher in a few other departments for close to 40 years. Currently he works at the Jewish library of the school (a library he created.He was previously published in Hakira and in The Bible Quarterly.
