Steven Bayme

Steven Bayme recently retired as National Director of the Contemporary Jewish Life Dept. at the American Jewish Committee. He holds an undergraduate degree in history from Yeshiva College and a PhD in Jewish history from Columbia University. He has taught at Yeshiva University, Jewish Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College, and Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. Three times he was included among The Forward’s annual listing of “Fifty Jews Who Make a Difference.”
