Rachel S. A. Pear is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Haifa’s Center for Jewish Education, where she is researching evolution education in Israeli Jewish and Arab schools. She wrote her PhD dissertation on American Modern Orthodox engagement with evolution in Bar Ilan University’s Science, Technology and Society Program, received her MA from Hebrew University in Prehistoric Archeology, and her BA from Columbia College.
