Born in Riga, George Kuchinsky immigrated to Boston as a child just before the Soviet Union disintegrated. He went to Brandeis (first for a bachelor’s degree, then for Master’s degrees in International Economics/Development and in Teaching History, respectively.) He worked for a few years as a CIA analyst and, recently, immigrated again, this time to France where he lives with his wife. He teaches English and history in Paris. George Kuchinsky is editing his debut novel and a book of poetry.
