Ari Levisohn lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Judith, and daughter, Nesya. After studying at Yeshivat Hakotel and earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ari turned his focus toward what he affectionately calls “Torah engineering.” He previously served as a scholar at Aleph Beta, where he trained with Rabbi David Fohrman and hosted the Into the Verse parsha podcast, and later served as Chief of Staff at Share.
Ari is currently pursuing semicha through World Mizrachi’s Musmachim program. He directs The Tanach Project, an organization exploring the intersection of Tanach and modern life, and hosts the Tehillim Unveiled podcast, which explores the literary and spiritual depth of Sefer Tehillim. He is also writing a book on Rut.
Ari Levisohn considers forgiveness through the lens of the Divine encounter through which the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy are revealed.
