Tchiya Froman is a research fellow in the Maskilot program at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and a doctoral candidate in the Department of Jewish Thought at Ben-Gurion University. She is writing her dissertation on prayer in the Hekhalot literature within the Zohar, under the supervision of Professor Oded Yisraeli. Previously, she taught Jewish Thought and Tanakh at Noga High School in Beit Shemesh and Pelech High School in Jerusalem. Currently, she teaches Jewish Thought and Kabbalah in various batei midrash. Froman holds a Bachelor's degree in Hebrew Literature from the Hebrew University and a Master's degree (with highest honors) in Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. In addition to her theoretical expertise, Tchiya Froman is Rav Menachem Froman's daughter-in-law, and she continues his peace activism and legacy in Tekoa.
