Joel Wolowelsky

Joel B. Wolowelsky is Dean of the Faculty Emeritus at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, where he taught for 55 years before making aliyah to Jerusalem. He is a Consulting editor of Tradition: A Journal of Orthodox Jewish Thought and Associate Editor of the series MeOtsar HoRav: Selected Writings of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik. His books include Women, Jewish Law and Modernity: New Opportunities in a Post-Feminist Age and Mind of the Mourner: Individual and Community in Jewish Mourning.
