Howard Apfel

Howard Apfel is a senior magid shiur at Yeshivat Sha’alvim, Nof Ayalon, Israel, and instructor of Machshava and Contemporary Halacha at the Machal Oversees program of Michlala College for Women in Jerusalem. He is also an assistant clinical professor (division of Pediatric Cardiology) at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and the Chief Medical Advisor for M.I.L.I., an organization in Israel that provides no cost evaluation, recommendations, and support for families of children with heart disease. He previously taught courses in Medical Halacha and Bio-ethics at Yeshiva University, Lander College for Men, Gruss Kollel in Jerusalem, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Sackler Medical School in Israel.
