Ari Silbermann directs the Hineni gap-year program, is completing his PhD in early biblical interpretation at Bar-Ilan University, and is a PhD fellow at the Minerva RIAB center and the Orion Center for the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Originally from Australia, after making aliyah in 2005, he completed hesder at Yeshivat Hakotel, and studied at Bet Morasha and Yeshivat Siach. He lives with his wife Laura and their four children, Tehilla, Nehorai, Nava, and Yedidya, in Gush Etzion.
