Uri Goldstein is the Managing Director of the Overseas Program at Yeshivat Hakotel, where he also teaches classes, and Rav Beit Sefer of Orot Banot school in Beit Shemesh. He also teaches in a number of high schools and seminaries, and has served as scholar in residence and guest speaker at synagogues throughout Israel. Before making Aliyah in July 2016, Uri was Rabbi of Congregation Ahavat Achim in Fair Lawn NJ for ten years, and assistant Rabbi at Park East Synagogue in NYC. Along with his wife, Dr. Julie Yanofsky Goldstein, Uri established and directed the Jewish Learning Initiative (now JLIC) at UCLA. The Goldsteins reside in Beit Shemesh with their five children.
