Max has a passion for stories and ideas that speak to the human condition, and spends his time exploring the depths of Jewish tradition to find new ways of connecting with the past. He loves writing, graphic design and video/audio production, and currently serves as the rabbinic intern at Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in New York and the Director of Jewish Education and Marketing at the Blue Dove Foundation. He is a graduate of New York University where he studied Judaic Studies and Communications, and is currently a student at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Judaic Studies. Most importantly, he is a husband, father, and dog-dad in New York City. When he's not learning, he's pushing his daughter Jamila on a swing in the park.
