Gillian Steinberg

Gillian Steinberg teaches English at SAR High School where she is also the Director of Writing and Educational Innovation for Machon Siach. She is the author of Thomas Hardy: The Poems and Philip Larkin and His Audiences, both from Palgrave Macmillan, as well as dozens of peer-reviewed and popular press articles. She is also the creator of teachingwritingbetter.com and works extensively as a developmental editor for academic writers. Gillian was twice named the Lillian F. and William L. Silber Professor of the Year at Yeshiva College. She earned her BA with Honors from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her MA and PhD from the University of Delaware.
